Rapporté par Ali ibn Abu Talib رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Allah est unique (witr) et Il aime ce qui est unique, alors accomplissez le witr, vous qui suivez le Coran. »

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah is single (witr) and loves what is single, so observe the witr, you who follow the Qur'an
Traduction en ourdou
علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے قرآن والو! ۱؎ وتر پڑھا کرو اس لیے کہ اللہ وتر (طاق) ہے اور وتر کو پسند کرتا ہے“۔
