Rapporté par Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Lorsque les premiers versets de la sourate Al-Muzzammil ont été révélés, les compagnons priaient aussi longtemps qu’ils priaient pendant le Ramadan, jusqu’à ce que les derniers versets soient révélés. حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، - يَعْنِي الْمَرْوَزِيَّ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ أَوَّلُ الْمُزَّمِّلِ كَانُوا يَقُومُونَ نَحْوًا مِنْ قِيَامِهِمْ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى نَزَلَ آخِرُهَا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ أَوَّلِهَا وَآخِرِهَا سَنَةٌ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:When the opening verses of Surah Al-muzammil was revealed, the Companions would pray as long as they would pray during Ramadan until its last verses were revealed. The period between the revelation of its opening and the last verses was one year

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ جب سورۃ مزمل کی ابتدائی آیات نازل ہوئیں تو لوگ رات کو ( نماز میں ) کھڑے رہتے جتنا کہ رمضان میں کھڑے رہتے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ سورۃ کا آخری حصہ نازل ہوا، ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک سال کا وقفہ ہے۔
