Rapporté par Abd Allah b. Sarjas رضي الله عنه : Un homme est venu alors que le Prophète ﷺ dirigeait la prière de l’aube. Il a prié les deux unités, puis a rejoint la prière en commun dirigée par le Prophète ﷺ. Quand il a terminé, le Prophète ﷺ lui a dit : « Untel, quelle était ta vraie prière, celle que tu as faite seul ou celle que tu as faite avec nous ? »

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ فَصَلَّى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ " يَا فُلاَنُ أَيَّتُهُمَا صَلاَتُكَ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ وَحْدَكَ أَوِ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ مَعَنَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Abd Allah b. Sarjas:A man came while the Prophet (ﷺ) was leading the people in the dawn prayer. He prayed the two rak'ahs and then joined the congregational prayer led by the Prophet (ﷺ). When he finished the prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: So-and-so, which was your real prayer, the one you prayed alone or the one offered with us ?

عبداللہ بن سرجس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص آیا اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فجر پڑھا رہے تھے تو اس نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز میں شریک ہو گیا، جب آپ نماز سے فارغ ہو کر پلٹے تو فرمایا: اے فلاں! تمہاری کون سی نماز تھی؟ آیا وہ جو تو نے تنہا پڑھی یا وہ جو ہمارے ساتھ پڑھی ۱؎؟ ۔
