Hadith 5252 — Livre 43: General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Tuez les serpents, en particulier ceux qui ont deux bandes et ceux qui ont une petite queue, car ils rendent aveugle et provoquent des fausses couches. » Salim a dit : ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar tuait chaque serpent qu’il trouvait. Abu Lubabah ou Zayd ibn al-Khattab l’a vu poursuivre un serpent et lui a dit : « Le Prophète ﷺ a interdit de tuer les serpents qui vivent dans les maisons. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ وَذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالأَبْتَرَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَلْتَمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ وَيُسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ " . قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَقْتُلُ كُلَّ حَيَّةٍ وَجَدَهَا فَأَبْصَرَهُ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ أَوْ زَيْدُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ وَهُوَ يُطَارِدُ حَيَّةً فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ نُهِيَ عَنْ ذَوَاتِ الْبُيُوتِ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) as saying:Kill snakes, kill those which have two streaks and those with small tails, for they obliterate the eyesight and cause miscarriage. Salim said: ‘Abd Allah(b. ‘Umar) used to kill every snake which he found. Abu Lubabah or Zaid b. al-Khattab saw him chasing a snake. He said: He(the Prophet) prohibited house-snakes
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سانپوں کو مار ڈالو، دو دھاریوں والوں کو بھی اور دم کٹے سانپوں کو بھی، کیونکہ یہ دونوں بینائی کو زائل کر دیتے اور حمل کو گرا دیتے ہیں ( زہر کی شدت سے ) ، سالم کہتے ہیں: عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما جس سانپ کو بھی پاتے مار ڈالتے، ایک بار ابولبابہ یا زید بن الخطاب نے ان کو ایک سانپ پر حملہ آور دیکھا تو کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گھریلو سانپوں کو مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے ۱؎۔
