Hadith 4927 — Livre 43: General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)
كتاب الأدب
Salam ibn Miskin, citant un vieil homme qui a assisté à une fête de mariage avec Abu Wa'il, a dit : Ils ont commencé à jouer, à s’amuser et à chanter. Il a entouré ses genoux de ses bras et a dit : J’ai entendu Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) dire : J’ai entendu l’Envoyé d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Le chant fait naître l’hypocrisie dans le cœur. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَلاَّمُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، شَهِدَ أَبَا وَائِلٍ فِي وَلِيمَةٍ فَجَعَلُوا يَلْعَبُونَ يَتَلَعَّبُونَ يُغَنُّونَ فَحَلَّ أَبُو وَائِلٍ حَبْوَتَهُ وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْغِنَاءُ يُنْبِتُ النِّفَاقَ فِي الْقَلْبِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Salam ibn Miskin, quoting an old man who witnessed AbuWa'il in a wedding feast, said:They began to play, amuse and sing. He united the support of his hand round his knees that were drawn up, and said: I heard Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) say: I heard the apostle of Allah (ﷺ) say: Singing produces hypocrisy in the heart

سلام بن مسکین ایک شیخ سے روایت کرتے ہیں جو ابووائل کے ساتھ ایک ولیمہ میں موجود تھے تو لوگ کھیل کود اور گانے بجانے میں لگے گئے، تو ابووائل نے اپنا حبوہ ۱؎ کھولا اور بولے: میں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود کو کہتے سنا ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: گانا بجانا دل میں نفاق پیدا کرتا ہے۔
