Hadith 4696 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

La tradition ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par Yahya b. Yamur et Humaid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs. Cette version dit : Nous avons rencontré ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar. Nous lui avons parlé du destin et de ce qu’ils en disaient. Il a alors raconté quelque chose de similaire. Il a ajouté : Un homme de Muzainah ou de Juhainah a demandé : « O Messager d’Allah, quelle est l’utilité d’agir ? Devons-nous penser que tout est déjà passé et terminé, ou que cela arrive maintenant sans prédestination ? » Il a répondu : « C’est à propos de ce qui est déjà passé et terminé (c’est-à-dire prédestiné). » Un homme ou des gens ont demandé : « Alors, pourquoi agir ? » Il a répondu : « Ceux qui sont destinés au Paradis seront aidés à faire les actions des gens du Paradis, et ceux qui sont destinés à l’Enfer seront aidés à faire les actions des gens de l’Enfer. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، وَحُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ لَقِينَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرْنَا لَهُ الْقَدَرَ وَمَا يَقُولُونَ فِيهِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ زَادَ قَالَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ أَوْ جُهَيْنَةَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فِيمَا نَعْمَلُ أَفِي شَىْءٍ قَدْ خَلاَ أَوْ مَضَى أَوْ شَىْءٍ يُسْتَأْنَفُ الآنَ قَالَ " فِي شَىْءٍ قَدْ خَلاَ وَمَضَى " . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَفِيمَ الْعَمَلُ قَالَ " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ يُيَسَّرُونَ لِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ يُيَسَّرُونَ لِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Yahya b. Yamur and Humaid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman through a different chain of narrators. This version has :we met ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar. We told him about divine decree and what they said about it. He then mentioned something similar to it. He added : A man of Muzainah or juhainah asked : What is the good in doing anything, Messenger of Allah ? should we think that a thing has passed and gone or a thing that has happened now (without predestination)? He replied : About a thing that has passed and gone (i.e. predestined). A man or some people asked: Then, why action? He replied: Those who are among the number of those who go to Paradise will be helped to do the deeds of the people who will go to Paradise, and those who are among the number of those who go to Hell will be helped to do the deeds of those who will go to Hell

یحییٰ بن یعمر اور حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں کہ ہم عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ملے تو ہم نے آپ سے تقدیر کے بارے میں جو کچھ لوگ کہتے ہیں اس کا ذکر کیا۔ پھر راوی نے اسی طرح کی روایت ذکر کی اور اس میں یہ اضافہ کیا کہ آپ سے مزینہ یا جہینہ ۱؎ کے ایک شخص نے پوچھا: اے اللہ کے رسول! پھر ہم کیا جان کر عمل کریں؟ کیا یہ جان کر کہ جو کچھ ہم کر رہے ہیں وہ سب پہلے ہی تقدیر میں لکھا جا چکا ہے، یا یہ جان کر کہ ( پہلے سے نہیں لکھا گیا ہے ) نئے سرے سے ہونا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ جان کر کہ جو کچھ ہونا ہے سب تقدیر میں لکھا جا چکا ہے پھر اس شخص نے یا کسی دوسرے نے کہا: تو آخر یہ عمل کس لیے ہے؟ ۲؎، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اہل جنت کے لیے اہل جنت والے اعمال آسان کر دئیے جاتے ہیں اور اہل جہنم کو اہل جہنم کے اعمال آسان کر دیئے جاتے ہیں ۔
