Rapporté par ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Amr رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Quatre caractéristiques font de celui qui les possède un hypocrite pur, et celui qui en possède une possède une caractéristique d’hypocrisie jusqu’à ce qu’il l’abandonne : quand il parle, il ment ; quand il promet, il ne tient pas sa promesse ; quand il conclut un pacte, il trahit ; et quand il se dispute, il s’écarte de la vérité. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَرْبَعٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ خَالِصٌ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَلَّةٌ مِنْهُنَّ كَانَ فِيهِ خَلَّةٌ مِنْ نِفَاقٍ حَتَّى يَدَعَهَا إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَ وَإِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَرَ " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Abd Allah b. ‘Amr reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying:Four characteristics constitute anyone who possesses them a sheer hypocrite, and anyone who possesses one of them possesses a characteristics of hypocrisy till he abandons it : when he talks he lies, when he makes a promise he violates it, when he makes a covenant he acts treacherously, and when he quarrels, he deviates from the Truth
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چار خصلتیں جس میں ہوں وہ خالص منافق ہے اور جس میں ان میں سے کوئی ایک خصلت ہو تو اس میں نفاق کی ایک خصلت ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ اسے چھوڑ دے: جب بات کرے تو جھوٹ بولے، وعدہ کرے تو وعدہ خلافی کرے، معاہدہ کرے تو اس کو نہ نبھائے، اگر کسی سے جھگڑا کرے تو گالی گلوچ دے ۔
