Hadith 4680 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنه : Lorsque le Prophète ﷺ s’est tourné vers la Ka’bah pour prier, les gens ont demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah ﷺ ! Qu’en est-il de ceux qui sont morts alors qu’ils priaient en direction de Jérusalem ? » Allah le Très-Haut a alors révélé : « Allah ne rendra jamais votre foi vaine. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَكَيْفَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى { وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ } .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn ‘Abbas said:when the Prophet (May peace be upon him) turned towards the Ka’bah (in prayer), the people asked : Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him)! what will happen with those who died while they prayed with their faces towards Jerusalem ? Allah the Exalted, then revealed : “And never would Allah make your faith of no effect.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ جب ( نماز میں ) نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کعبہ کی طرف رخ کرنا شروع کیا تو لوگ کہنے لگے: اللہ کے رسول! ان لوگوں کا کیا ہو گا جو مر گئے، اور وہ بیت المقدس کی طرف نماز پڑھتے تھے؟ تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی «وما كان الله ليضيع إيمانكم» ایسا نہیں ہے کہ اللہ تمہارے ایمان یعنی نماز ضائع فرما دے ( البقرہ: ۱۴۳ ) ۱؎۔
