Hadith 4632 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه a rapporté qu’un homme est venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et a dit : « J’ai vu (en rêve) un nuage d’où tombaient du beurre clarifié et du miel. J’ai vu les gens tendre les mains : certains en prenaient beaucoup, d’autres peu. J’ai aussi vu une corde suspendue du ciel à la terre. J’ai vu, Messager d’Allah, que tu t’y es accroché et tu es monté. Puis un autre homme s’y est accroché et il est monté. Puis un autre homme s’y est accroché et il est monté. Puis un autre homme s’y est accroché, mais la corde s’est rompue, puis elle a été raccommodée et il est monté. » Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه a dit : « Que mes parents te soient sacrifiés, si tu permets, je vais l’interpréter. » Il a dit : « Interprète. » Il a dit : « Le nuage, c’est l’islam ; le beurre et le miel qui en tombent, c’est le Coran, qui contient douceur et tendresse. Ceux qui en reçoivent beaucoup ou peu sont ceux qui apprennent beaucoup ou peu du Coran. La corde suspendue du ciel à la terre, c’est la vérité que tu suis. Tu t’y accroches, puis Allah t’élève vers Lui. Ensuite, un autre homme s’y accroche et monte, puis un autre, puis un autre s’y accroche, la corde se rompt, mais elle est raccommodée et il monte. Dis-moi, Messager d’Allah, ai-je vu juste ou non ? » Il a dit : « Tu as partiellement raison et partiellement tort. » Il a dit : « Je t’en supplie par Allah, dis-moi où je me suis trompé. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Ne jure pas. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، - قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ كَتَبْتُهُ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً أَتَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَرَى اللَّيْلَةَ ظُلَّةً يَنْطِفُ مِنْهَا السَّمْنُ وَالْعَسَلُ فَأَرَى النَّاسَ يَتَكَفَّفُونَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ فَالْمُسْتَكْثِرُ وَالْمُسْتَقِلُّ وَأَرَى سَبَبًا وَاصِلاً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ فَأَرَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخَذْتَ بِهِ فَعَلَوْتَ بِهِ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَعَلاَ بِهِ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَعَلاَ بِهِ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَانْقَطَعَ ثُمَّ وُصِلَ فَعَلاَ بِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي لَتَدَعَنِّي فَلأَعْبُرَنَّهَا . فَقَالَ " اعْبُرْهَا " . قَالَ أَمَّا الظُّلَّةُ فَظُلَّةُ الإِسْلاَمِ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْطِفُ مِنَ السَّمْنِ وَالْعَسَلِ فَهُوَ الْقُرْآنُ لِينُهُ وَحَلاَوَتُهُ وَأَمَّا الْمُسْتَكْثِرُ وَالْمُسْتَقِلُّ فَهُوَ الْمُسْتَكْثِرُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَالْمُسْتَقِلُّ مِنْهُ وَأَمَّا السَّبَبُ الْوَاصِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ فَهُوَ الْحَقُّ الَّذِي أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ تَأْخُذُ بِهِ فَيُعْلِيكَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ بِهِ بَعْدَكَ رَجُلٌ فَيَعْلُو بِهِ ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ بِهِ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَيَعْلُو بِهِ ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ بِهِ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَيَنْقَطِعُ ثُمَّ يُوصَلُ لَهُ فَيَعْلُو بِهِ أَىْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَتُحَدِّثَنِّي أَصَبْتُ أَمْ أَخْطَأْتُ . فَقَالَ " أَصَبْتَ بَعْضًا وَأَخْطَأْتَ بَعْضًا " . فَقَالَ أَقْسَمْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَتُحَدِّثَنِّي مَا الَّذِي أَخْطَأْتُ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تُقْسِمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Abbas said:Abu Hurairah said that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: I saw (in my dream) a piece of cloud from which ghee and honey were dropping. I saw the people spreading their hands. Some of them took much and some a little. I also saw a rope hanging from Heaven to Earth. I saw, Messenger of Allah, that you caught hold of it and ascended by it. Then another man caught hold of it and ascended it. Then another man caught hold of it and ascended it. Then another man caught hold of it, but it broke, and then it was joined and he ascended it. AbuBakr said: May my parents be sacrificed for you, if you allow, I shall interpret it. He said: Interpret it. He said: The piece of cloud is the cloud of Islam; the ghee and honey that were dropping from it are the Qur'an, which contains softness and sweetness. Those who received much or little of it are those who learn much or little of the Qur'an. The rope hanging from Heaven to Earth is the truth which you are following. You catch hold of it and then Allah will raise you to Him. Then another man will catch hold of it and ascend it, Then another man will catch hold of it and it will break. But it will be joined and he will ascend it. Tell me. Messenger of Allah, whether I am right or wrong. He said: You are partly right and partly wrong. He said: I adjure you by Allah, you should tell me where I am wrong. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not take an oath

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا: میں نے رات کو بادل کا ایک ٹکڑا دیکھا، جس سے گھی اور شہد ٹپک رہا تھا، پھر میں نے لوگوں کو دیکھا وہ اپنے ہاتھوں کو پھیلائے اسے لے رہے ہیں، کسی نے زیادہ لیا کسی نے کم، اور میں نے دیکھا کہ ایک رسی آسمان سے زمین تک لٹکی ہوئی ہے، پھر میں نے آپ کو دیکھا اللہ کے رسول! کہ آپ نے اسے پکڑ ا اور اس سے اوپر چلے گئے، پھر ایک اور شخص نے اسے پکڑا اور وہ بھی اوپر چلا گیا، پھر ایک اور شخص نے اسے پکڑا اور وہ بھی اوپر چلا گیا، پھر اسے ایک اور شخص نے پکڑا تو وہ ٹوٹ گئی پھر اسے جوڑا گیا، تو وہ بھی اوپر چلا گیا۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان جائیں مجھے اس کی تعبیر بیان کرنے دیجئیے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کی تعبیر بیان کرو وہ بولے: بادل کے ٹکڑے سے مراد اسلام ہے، اور ٹپکنے والے گھی اور شہد سے قرآن کی حلاوت ( شیرینی ) اور نرمی مراد ہے، کم اور زیادہ لینے والوں سے مراد قرآن کو کم یا زیادہ حاصل کرنے والے لوگ ہیں، آسمان سے زمین تک پہنچی ہوئی رسی سے مراد حق ہے جس پر آپ ہیں، آپ اسے پکڑے ہوئے ہیں، اللہ آپ کو اٹھا لے گا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد ایک اور شخص اسے پکڑے گا تو وہ بھی اٹھ جائے گا، پھر ایک اور شخص پکڑے گا تو وہ بھی اٹھ جائے گا، پھر اسے ایک اور شخص پکڑے گا، تو وہ ٹوٹ جائے گی تو اسے جوڑا جائے گا، پھر وہ بھی اٹھ جائے گا، اللہ کے رسول! آپ مجھے بتائیے کہ میں نے صحیح کہا یا غلط، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کچھ صحیح کہا اور کچھ غلط کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں آپ کو قسم دلاتا ہوں کہ آپ مجھے بتائیے کہ میں نے کیا غلطی کی، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قسم نہ دلاؤ ۔
