Hadith 4506 — Livre 41: Types of Blood-Wit (Kitab Al-Diyat)

Rapporté par ‘Amr ibn Shu’aib, d’après son père, d’après son grand-père : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Un croyant ne sera pas tué pour un mécréant. Si quelqu’un tue un homme volontairement, il doit être livré aux proches de la victime : s’ils le souhaitent, ils peuvent le tuer, ou s’ils le souhaitent, ils peuvent accepter le prix du sang. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يُقْتَلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا دُفِعَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَاءِ الْمَقْتُولِ فَإِنْ شَاءُوا قَتَلُوهُ وَإِنْ شَاءُوا أَخَذُوا الدِّيَةَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Amr b. Shu'aib: On his father's authority said that his grandfather reported the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A believer will not be killed for an infidel. If anyone kills a man deliberately, he is to be handed over to the relatives of the one who has been killed. If they wish, they may kill, but if they wish, they may accept blood-wit
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کسی کافر کے بدلے مومن کو قتل نہیں کیا جائے گا، اور جو کسی مومن کو دانستہ طور پر قتل کرے گا، وہ مقتول کے وارثین کے حوالے کر دیا جائے گا، وہ چاہیں تو اسے قتل کریں اور چاہیں تو دیت لے لیں ۔
