Rapporté par Abu Burdah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « On ne doit pas donner plus de dix coups, sauf dans le cas d’une peine prescrite par Allah, le Très-Haut. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يُجْلَدُ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلَدَاتٍ إِلاَّ فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Burdah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:No more than ten lashes are to be given, except in the case of one of the punishment prescribed by Allah, the Exalted
Traduction en ourdou
ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کوڑے دس سے زیادہ نہ مارے جائیں سوائے اللہ کی حدود میں سے کسی حد میں ۱؎ ۔
