Hadith 4466 — Livre 40: Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)
كتاب الحدود
Rapporté par Sahl ibn Sa’d رضي الله عنه : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ et a reconnu devant lui avoir commis la fornication avec une femme qu’il a nommée. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a envoyé quelqu’un interroger la femme à ce sujet. Elle a nié avoir commis la fornication. Il a donc appliqué la peine des coups de fouet à l’homme et l’a laissée

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلاَمِ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَجُلاً أَتَاهُ فَأَقَرَّ عِنْدَهُ أَنَّهُ زَنَى بِامْرَأَةٍ سَمَّاهَا لَهُ فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْكَرَتْ أَنْ تَكُونَ زَنَتْ فَجَلَدَهُ الْحَدَّ وَتَرَكَهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sahl ibn Sa'd: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and made acknowledgment before him that he had committed fornication with a woman whom he named. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent someone to the woman and he asked her about it. She denied that she had committed fornication. So he gave him the prescribed punishment of lashes and left her
Traduction en ourdou
سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر یہ اعتراف کیا کہ اس نے ایک عورت سے جس کا اس نے نام لیا زنا کیا ہے، تو آپ نے اس عورت کو بلوایا، اور اس سے اس بارے میں پوچھا، اس نے انکار کیا، تو آپ نے حد میں صرف مرد کو کوڑے مارے، اور عورت کو چھوڑ دیا۔
