Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ n’a jamais regroupé la prière du coucher du soleil et celle de la nuit pendant un voyage, sauf une seule fois. Abu Dawud a dit : Cela a été rapporté par Ayyub de Nafi' d’Ibn 'Umar comme une parole d’Ibn 'Umar. On n’a jamais vu Ibn 'Umar regrouper ces deux prières, sauf la nuit où il a appris la mort de Safiyyah. Le récit rapporté par Makhul de Nafi' indique que Nafi' l’a vu faire cela une ou deux fois

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَوْدُودٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ مَا جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ قَطُّ فِي السَّفَرِ إِلاَّ مَرَّةً . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهَذَا يُرْوَى عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُرَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا قَطُّ إِلاَّ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ اسْتُصْرِخَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ وَرُوِيَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never combined the sunset and night prayers while on a journey except once. Abu Dawud said: This has been narrated by Ayyub from Nafi' from Ibn 'Umar as a statement of Ibn 'Umar. Ibn 'Umar was never seen combining these two prayers except on the night he was informed about the death of Safiyyah. The tradition narrated by Makhul from Nafi' indicates that he (Nafi') saw Ibn 'Umar doing so once or twice

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سفر میں ایک بار کے علاوہ کبھی بھی مغرب اور عشاء کو ایک ساتھ ادا نہیں کیا۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث «ایوب عن نافع عن ابن عمر» سے موقوفاً روایت کی جاتی ہے کہ نافع نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو ایک رات کے سوا کبھی بھی ان دونوں نمازوں کو جمع کرتے نہیں دیکھا، یعنی اس رات جس میں انہیں صفیہ کی وفات کی خبر دی گئی، اور مکحول کی حدیث نافع سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے ابن عمر کو اس طرح ایک یا دو بار کرتے دیکھا۔
