Ibn az-Zubayr a rapporté qu’une femme cliente de leur famille a emmené la fille d’az-Zubayr chez Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه alors qu’elle portait des grelots aux jambes. Omar les a coupés et a dit qu’il avait entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Il y a un diable avec chaque grelot. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، أَنَّ عَامِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ - أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ مَوْلاَةً لَهُمْ ذَهَبَتْ بِابْنَةِ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَفِي رِجْلِهَا أَجْرَاسٌ فَقَطَعَهَا عُمَرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ مَعَ كُلِّ جَرَسٍ شَيْطَانًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn az-Zubayr told that a woman client of theirs took az-Zubayr's daughter to Umar ibn al-Khattab wearing bells on her legs. Umar cut them off and said that he had heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:There is a devil along with each bell

عامر بن عبداللہ بن زبیر کہتے ہیں کہ ان کی ایک لونڈی زبیر کی ایک بچی کو عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس لے کر گئی، اس بچی کے پاؤں میں گھنٹیاں تھیں یعنی گھونگھرو تھے تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے کاٹ دیا، اور کہنے لگے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے کہ ہر گھنٹی کے ساتھ شیطان ہوتا ہے۔
