Hadith 4209 — Livre 35: Combing the Hair (Kitab Al-Tarajjul)
كتاب الترجل
Thabit a dit qu’on a demandé à Anas رضي الله عنه si le Prophète ﷺ se teignait les cheveux. Il a répondu : « Il ne se teignait pas les cheveux, mais Abu Bakr et ‘Umar le faisaient. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ خِضَابِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ وَلَكِنْ قَدْ خَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا .
Traduction anglaise
Thabit said that Anas was asked about the hair-dye of the Prophet (ﷺ). He replied:He did not dye his hair, but Abu Bakr and 'Umar dyed their hair

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ان سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خضاب کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تو خضاب لگایا ہی نہیں، ہاں ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے لگایا ہے۔
