Hadith 4100 — Livre 34: Clothing (Kitab Al-Libas)
كتاب اللباس
Safiyyah, fille de Shaybah, rapporte qu’Aisha رضي الله عنها a parlé des femmes des Ansar, les a louées et a dit du bien d’elles. Puis elle a ajouté : « Lorsque la sourate an-Nur est descendue, elles ont pris leurs rideaux, les ont déchirés et en ont fait des voiles pour la tête. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ نِسَاءَ الأَنْصَارِ فَأَثْنَتْ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَقَالَتْ لَهُنَّ مَعْرُوفًا وَقَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ النُّورِ عَمَدْنَ إِلَى حُجُورٍ - أَوْ حُجُوزٍ شَكَّ أَبُو كَامِلٍ - فَشَقَقْنَهُنَّ فَاتَّخَذْنَهُ خُمُرًا .

Safiyyah, daughter of Shaybah, said that Aisha mentioned the women of Ansar, praised them and said good words about them. She then said:When Surat an-Nur came down, they took the curtains, tore them and made head covers (veils) of them

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ انہوں نے انصار کی عورتوں کا ذکر کیا تو ان کی تعریف کی اور ان کا ذکر اچھے انداز میں کیا اور کہا کہ جب سورۃ النور نازل ہوئی تو وہ پردوں یا تہ بندوں کی طرف بڑھیں اور انہیں پھاڑ کر اوڑھنی اور دوپٹہ بنا لیا۔
