Rapporté par Abud Darda’ : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « La comparaison d’un homme qui affranchit un esclave au moment de sa mort est celle d’un homme qui offre un cadeau après avoir satisfait son propre désir. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْتِقُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُهْدِي إِذَا شَبِعَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated AbudDarda': The Prophet (ﷺ) said: the similitude of a man who emancipates a slave at the time of his death is like that of a man who gives a present after satisfying his appetite
Traduction en ourdou
ابوالدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو مرتے وقت غلام آزاد کرے تو اس کی مثال ایسے ہی ہے جیسے کوئی آسودہ ہو جانے کے بعد ہدیہ دے ۔
