Rapporté par Amr ibn Abasah, d’après Marrah ibn Ka’b : « J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : “Celui qui affranchit un esclave musulman, cela sera sa rançon contre la Géhenne.” »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا، سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Amr ibn Abasah, said that Marrah ibn Ka'b said:I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: If anyone emancipates a Muslim slave, that will be his ransom from Jahannam
Traduction en ourdou
شرحبیل بن سمط کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے عمرو بن عبسہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: آپ ہم سے کوئی ایسی حدیث بیان کیجئے جسے آپ نے ( براہ راست ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہو تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جس نے کسی مسلمان گردن کو آزاد کیا تو وہ دوزخ سے اس کا فدیہ ہو گا ۔
