Hadith 3961 — Livre 31: The Book of Manumission of Slaves
كتاب العتق
Imran ibn Husain a dit : « Un homme a affranchi six esclaves au moment de sa mort alors qu’il n’avait pas d’autre bien. Le Prophète ﷺ en a été informé. Il a tiré au sort parmi eux, en a affranchi deux et a gardé les quatre autres en esclavage. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَتِيقٍ، وَأَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً .
Traduction anglaise
Imran b. Husain said:A man emancipated six slaved at the time of his death and he had no other property. The Prophet (ﷺ) was informed about it. He cast lots among them, emancipated two and retained four in slavery

عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے اپنی موت کے وقت اپنے چھ کے چھ غلاموں کو آزاد کر دیا ان کے علاوہ اس کے پاس کوئی اور مال نہ تھا پھر یہ خبر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو پہنچی تو آپ نے ان کے درمیان قرعہ اندازی کی پھر دو کو آزاد کر دیا اور چار کو غلام ہی باقی رکھا۔
