كتاب الاستسقاء
Ikrimah a dit : On informa Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه que telle épouse du Prophète ﷺ était décédée. Il se prosterna immédiatement. On lui demanda : « Pourquoi te prosternes-tu en ce moment ? » Il répondit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Lorsque vous voyez un signe (un événement inhabituel), prosternez-vous.” Et quel signe peut être plus grand que la mort d’une épouse du Prophète ﷺ ? »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ قِيلَ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَاتَتْ فُلاَنَةُ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَرَّ سَاجِدًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَتَسْجُدُ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ آيَةً فَاسْجُدُوا " . وَأَىُّ آيَةٍ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ ذَهَابِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
Traduction anglaise
Ikrimah said:Ibn Abbas was informed that so-and-so, a certain wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), had died. He fell down prostrating himself. He was questioned: Why do you prostrate yourself this moment? He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When you see a portent (an accident), prostrate yourselves. And which portent (accident) can be greater than the death of a wife of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Traduction en ourdou
عکرمہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہا گیا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی فلاں بیوی کا انتقال ہو گیا ہے، تو وہ یہ سن کر سجدے میں گر پڑے، ان سے کہا گیا: کیا اس وقت آپ سجدہ کر رہے ہیں؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے کہ جب تم کوئی نشانی ( یعنی بڑا حادثہ ) دیکھو تو سجدہ کرو اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں کی موت سے بڑھ کر کون سی نشانی ہو سکتی ہے؟ ۔
