Hadith 3849 — Livre 28: Foods (Kitab Al-At'imah)
كتاب الأطعمة
Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه a dit : Quand la nappe était retirée, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ disait : « Louange à Allah, abondamment et sincèrement, d’une manière qui apporte la bénédiction, qui n’est ni insuffisante, ni abandonnée, ni négligée, ô notre Seigneur. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا رُفِعَتِ الْمَائِدَةُ قَالَ " الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلاَ مُوَدَّعٍ وَلاَ مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبُّنَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Umamah said:When the food cloth was removed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “praise be to Allah abundantly and sincerely, of such a nature as is productive of blessing, is not insufficient, Abandoned, or ignored, O our lord.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں جب دستر خوان اٹھایا جاتا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا پڑھتے «الحمد لله كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه غير مكفي ولا مودع ولا مستغنى عنه ربنا» اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے بہت سارا صاف ستھرا بابرکت شکر ہے، ایسا شکر نہیں جو ایک بار کفایت کرے اور چھوڑ دیا جائے اور اس کی حاجت نہ رہے اے ہمارے رب تو حمد کے لائق ہے ۔
