حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحَدِّثُنَا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ مَا يَقُومُ إِلاَّ إِلَى عُظْمِ صَلاَةٍ .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to relate to us traditions from the children of Isra'il till morning came; he would not get up except for obligatory prayer

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم سے بنی اسرائیل کی باتیں اس قدر بیان کرتے کہ صبح ہو جاتی اور صرف فرض نماز ہی کے لیے اٹھتے۔
