Rapporté par Tha'labah ibn Abu Malik : Tha'labah a entendu ses aînés dire qu’un homme des Quraysh partageait l’eau d’un ruisseau, al-Mahzur, avec les Banu Qurayzah. Il porta le différend devant le Messager d’Allah ﷺ à propos de ce ruisseau dont ils se partageaient l’eau. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ décida alors que lorsque l’eau atteignait les chevilles, il ne fallait pas la retenir pour qu’elle puisse couler vers l’aval

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ - عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ كُبَرَاءَهُمْ، يَذْكُرُونَ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ كَانَ لَهُ سَهْمٌ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَخَاصَمَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي مَهْزُورٍ - يَعْنِي السَّيْلَ الَّذِي يَقْتَسِمُونَ مَاءَهُ - فَقَضَى بَيْنَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لاَ يَحْبِسُ الأَعْلَى عَلَى الأَسْفَلِ .

Narrated Tha'labah ibn AbuMalik: Tha'labah heard his elders say that a man from the Quraysh had his share with Banu Qurayzah (in water). He brought the dispute to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about al-Mahzur, a stream whose water they shared together. ثعلبہ بن ابی مالک قرظی کہتے ہیں انہوں نے اپنے بزرگوں سے بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ قریش کے ایک آدمی نے جو بنو قریظہ کے ساتھ ( پانی میں ) شریک تھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مہزور کے نالے کے متعلق جھگڑا لے کر آیا جس کا پانی سب تقسیم کر لیتے تھے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فیصلہ کیا کہ جب تک پانی ٹخنوں تک نہ پہنچ جائے اوپر والا نیچے والے کے لیے نہ روکے۔
