Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Le Saint Prophète ﷺ a dit à un homme à qui il demandait de prêter serment : « Jure par Allah, en dehors de qui il n’y a pas de divinité, que tu ne possèdes rien qui appartienne à cet homme, c’est-à-dire au plaignant. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ - يَعْنِي لِرَجُلٍ حَلَّفَهُ - " احْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ مَا لَهُ عِنْدَكَ شَىْءٌ " . يَعْنِي لِلْمُدَّعِي . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَبُو يَحْيَى اسْمُهُ زِيَادٌ كُوفِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to a man whom he asked to take an oath: Swear by Allah except whom there is no god that you have nothing belonging to him, i.e. the plaintiff

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص سے قسم کھلائی تو یوں فرمایا: اس اللہ کی قسم کھاؤ جس کے سوا کوئی بندگی کے لائق نہیں کہ تیرے پاس اس ( یعنی مدعی کی ) کی کوئی چیز نہیں ہے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابویحییٰ کا نام زیاد کوفی ہے اور وہ ثقہ ہیں۔
