Rapporté par Aisha رضي الله عنها : Hind, la mère de Mu’awiya, vint voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et dit : « Abu Sufyan est avare. Il ne me donne pas assez pour moi et mes enfants. Est-ce que j’ai le droit de prendre de ses biens ? » Il répondit : « Prends ce qui suffit pour toi et tes enfants selon l’usage. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ هِنْدًا أُمَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ، جَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ وَإِنَّهُ لاَ يُعْطِينِي مَا يَكْفِينِي وَبَنِيَّ فَهَلْ عَلَىَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ آخُذَ مِنْ مَالِهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ " خُذِي مَا يَكْفِيكِ وَبَنِيكِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Aishah:Hind, the mother of Mu'awiyah, came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'Abu Sufyan is a stingy person. He does not give me as much (money) as suffices me and my children. Is there any harm to me if I take something from his property ? He said: Take as much as suffices you and your children according to the custom

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی والدہ ہند رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں اور ( اپنے شوہر کے متعلق ) کہا: ابوسفیان بخیل آدمی ہیں مجھے خرچ کے لیے اتنا نہیں دیتے جو میرے اور میرے بیٹوں کے لیے کافی ہو، تو کیا ان کے مال میں سے میرے کچھ لے لینے میں کوئی گناہ ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عام دستور کے مطابق بس اتنا لے لیا کرو جو تمہارے اور تمہارے بیٹوں کی ضرورتوں کے لیے کافی ہو ۔
