كتاب البيوع
Asim ibn Kulayb rapporte de son père ce qu’a dit l’un des Ansar : Nous sommes sortis avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ pour un enterrement, et j’ai vu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ au bord de la tombe donner cette instruction au fossoyeur : « Élargis-la du côté des pieds et du côté de la tête. » Lorsqu’il est revenu, un homme est venu l’inviter de la part d’une femme. Il s’y est rendu, on a apporté de la nourriture, il a pris un morceau dans sa main ; les gens ont fait de même et ont mangé. Nos pères ont remarqué que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ tournait un morceau dans sa bouche. Il a alors dit : « Je sens la chair d’un mouton qui a été prise sans la permission de son propriétaire. » La femme a envoyé un message pour dire : « Ô Messager d’Allah, j’ai envoyé quelqu’un à an-Naqi‘ pour acheter un mouton pour moi, mais il n’y en avait pas ; alors j’ai demandé à mon voisin qui en avait acheté un de me le vendre au même prix, mais il était absent. J’ai donc demandé à sa femme, et elle me l’a envoyé. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Donnez cette nourriture aux prisonniers. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةٍ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ يُوصِي الْحَافِرَ " أَوْسِعْ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيْهِ أَوْسِعْ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَأْسِهِ " . فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ دَاعِيَ امْرَأَةٍ فَجَاءَ وَجِيءَ بِالطَّعَامِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَكَلُوا فَنَظَرَ آبَاؤُنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَلُوكُ لُقْمَةً فِي فَمِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَجِدُ لَحْمَ شَاةٍ أُخِذَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ أَهْلِهَا " . فَأَرْسَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ يَشْتَرِي لِي شَاةً فَلَمْ أَجِدْ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى جَارٍ لِي قَدِ اشْتَرَى شَاةً أَنْ أَرْسِلْ إِلَىَّ بِهَا بِثَمَنِهَا فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَىَّ بِهَا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَطْعِمِيهِ الأَسَارَى " .
Traduction anglaise
Asim ibn Kulayb quoted his father's authority for the following statement by one of the Ansar:We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to a funeral, and I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at the grave giving this instruction to the grave-digger: Make it wide on the side of his feet, and make it wide on the side of his head. When he came back, he was received by a man who conveyed an invitation from a woman. So he came (to her), to it food was brought, and he put his hand (i.e. took a morsel in his hand); the people did the same and they ate. Our fathers noticed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was moving a morsel around his mouth. He then said: I find the flesh of a sheep which has been taken without its owner's permission. The woman sent a message to say: Messenger of Allah, I sent (someone) to an-Naqi' to have a sheep bought for me, but there was none; so I sent (a message) to my neighbour who had bought a sheep, asking him to send it to me for the price (he had paid), but he could not be found. I, therefore, sent (a message) to his wife and she sent it to me. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Give this food to the prisoners

ایک انصاری کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک جنازہ میں گئے تو میں نے آپ کو دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قبر پر تھے قبر کھودنے والے کو بتا رہے تھے: پیروں کی جانب سے ( قبر ) کشادہ کرو اور سر کی جانب سے چوڑی کرو پھر جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( وہاں سے فراغت پا کر ) لوٹے تو ایک عورت کی جانب سے کھانے کی دعوت دینے والا آپ کے سامنے آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( اس کے یہاں ) آئے اور کھانا لایا گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ رکھا ( کھانا شروع کیا ) پھر دوسرے لوگوں نے رکھا اور سب نے کھانا شروع کر دیا تو ہمارے بزرگوں نے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، آپ ایک ہی لقمہ منہ میں لیے گھما پھرا رہے ہیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مجھے لگتا ہے یہ ایسی بکری کا گوشت ہے جسے اس کے مالک کی اجازت کے بغیر ذبح کر کے پکا لیا گیا ہے پھر عورت نے کہلا بھیجا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے اپنا ایک آدمی بقیع کی طرف بکری خرید کر لانے کے لیے بھیجا تو اسے بکری نہیں ملی پھر میں نے اپنے ہمسایہ کو، جس نے ایک بکری خرید رکھی تھی کہلا بھیجا کہ تم نے جس قیمت میں بکری خرید رکھی ہے اسی قیمت میں مجھے دے دو ( اتفاق سے ) وہ ہمسایہ ( گھر پر ) نہ ملا تو میں نے اس کی بیوی سے کہلا بھیجا تو اس نے بکری میرے پاس بھیج دی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ گوشت قیدیوں کو کھلا دو ۱؎ ۔
