كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas : La sœur de Uqbah ibn Amir avait fait le vœu de faire le hajj à pied, mais elle n’en avait pas la capacité. Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Allah n’a pas besoin que ta sœur marche. Qu’elle monte et offre un chameau en sacrifice. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّلَمِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ طَهْمَانَ - عَنْ مَطَرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، : أَنَّ أُخْتَ، عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ، مَاشِيَةً وَأَنَّهَا لاَ تُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنْ مَشْىِ أُخْتِكَ، فَلْتَرْكَبْ وَلْتُهْدِ بَدَنَةً " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The sister of Uqbah ibn Amir took a vow that she would perform hajj on foot, and she was unable to do so. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah is not in need of the walking of your sister. She must ride and offer a sacrificial camel

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بہن نے پیدل حج کرنے کی نذر مانی اور پیدل جانے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتی تھی، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے ) کہا: اللہ تعالیٰ کو تمہاری بہن کے پیدل جانے کی پرواہ نہیں، ( تم اپنی بہن سے کہو کہ ) وہ سوار ہو جائیں اور ( نذر کے کفارہ کے طور پر ) ایک اونٹ کی قربانی دے دیں ۔
