Hadith 3287 — Livre 22: Oaths and Vows (Kitab Al-Aiman Wa Al-Nudhur)
كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a interdit de faire des vœux. Il a dit : « Cela n’a aucun effet sur le destin, c’est seulement un moyen d’obtenir quelque chose de la part des avares. » Musaddad a dit : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Un vœu ne change rien (c’est-à-dire n’a aucun effet sur le destin). »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ عُثْمَانُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّذْرِ ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا وَيَقُولُ : " لاَ يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا، وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ " . قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " النَّذْرُ لاَ يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade to make a vow. He said: It has not effect against fate, it is only from the miserly that it is means by which something is extracted. Musaddad said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: A vow does not avert anything (i.e. has no effect against fate)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نذر سے منع فرماتے تھے، اور فرماتے تھے کہ نذر تقدیر کے فیصلے کو کچھ بھی نہیں ٹالتی سوائے اس کے کہ اس سے بخیل ( کی جیب ) سے کچھ نکال لیا جاتا ہے۔ مسدد کی روایت میں ہے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نذر کسی چیز کو ٹالتی نہیں ۱؎ ۔
