Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه : La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par Ibn ‘Umar à travers une autre chaîne de narrateurs, avec le même sens jusqu’aux mots « par vos pères ». Cette version ajoute : « ‘Umar a dit : Je jure par Allah, je n’ai jamais juré par cela, ni pour moi-même ni en le rapportant d’autrui. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ سَمِعَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَى " بِآبَائِكُمْ " . زَادَ قَالَ عُمَرُ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا حَلَفْتُ بِهَذَا ذَاكِرًا وَلاَ آثِرًا .
Traduction anglaise
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn 'Umar through a different chain of narrators to the same effect up to the words "by your fathers". This version adds:" 'Umar said: I swear by Allah, I never swore by it personally or reporting it from others

عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( غیر اللہ کی قسم کھاتے ہوئے ) سنا، پھر راوی نے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث:«بآبائكم» تک بیان کی، اس میں اتنا اضافہ ہے کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: قسم اللہ کی پھر میں نے نہ جان بوجھ کر اس کی قسم کھائی، اور نہ ہی کسی کی بات نقل کرتے ہوئے۔
