Rapporté par Abdullah Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Lorsque le Prophète ﷺ s’est arrêté à Marr az-Zahran, Al-Abbas a dit : « J’ai pensé, par Allah, que si le Messager d’Allah ﷺ entrait à La Mecque avec l’armée par la force avant que les Quraysh ne viennent à lui demander sa protection, ce serait leur perte totale. J’ai donc monté la mule du Messager d’Allah ﷺ en me disant : Peut-être trouverai-je quelqu’un qui ira prévenir les gens de La Mecque de la situation du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, afin qu’ils viennent lui demander sa protection. En chemin, j’ai entendu Abu Sufyan et Budayl ibn Warqa’ parler. J’ai dit : “Ô Abu Hanzalah !” Il a reconnu ma voix et a dit : “Abul Fadl ?” J’ai répondu : “Oui.” Il a demandé : “Qui est avec toi, que mes parents te soient sacrifiés ?” J’ai dit : “Voici le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et son peuple avec lui.” Il a demandé : “Quelle est la voie de sortie ?” Il est monté derrière moi, et son compagnon est reparti. Le matin venu, je l’ai amené au Messager d’Allah ﷺ et il a embrassé l’islam. J’ai dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, Abu Sufyan est un homme qui aime se distinguer, fais quelque chose pour lui.” Il a répondu : “Oui, celui qui entre dans la maison d’Abu Sufyan est en sécurité ; celui qui ferme sa porte sur lui est en sécurité ; et celui qui entre dans la mosquée est en sécurité.” Les gens se sont alors dispersés dans leurs maisons et dans la mosquée. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَهْلِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ الظَّهْرَانِ قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ قُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ لَئِنْ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَكَّةَ عَنْوَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتُوهُ فَيَسْتَأْمِنُوهُ إِنَّهُ لَهَلاَكُ قُرَيْشٍ فَجَلَسْتُ عَلَى بَغْلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ لَعَلِّي أَجِدُ ذَا حَاجَةٍ يَأْتِي أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ فَيُخْبِرُهُمْ بِمَكَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِيَخْرُجُوا إِلَيْهِ فَيَسْتَأْمِنُوهُ فَإِنِّي لأَسِيرُ إِذْ سَمِعْتُ كَلاَمَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَبُدَيْلِ بْنِ وَرْقَاءَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا حَنْظَلَةَ فَعَرَفَ صَوْتِي فَقَالَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ . قَالَ مَا لَكَ فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي قُلْتُ هَذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالنَّاسُ . قَالَ فَمَا الْحِيلَةُ قَالَ فَرَكِبَ خَلْفِي وَرَجَعَ صَاحِبُهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ غَدَوْتُ بِهِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَسْلَمَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ يُحِبُّ هَذَا الْفَخْرَ فَاجْعَلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا . قَالَ " نَعَمْ مَنْ دَخَلَ دَارَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَهُوَ آمِنٌ وَمَنْ أَغْلَقَ عَلَيْهِ دَارَهُ فَهُوَ آمِنٌ وَمَنْ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَهُوَ آمِنٌ " . قَالَ فَتَفَرَّقَ النَّاسُ إِلَى دُورِهِمْ وَإِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet (ﷺ) alighted at Marr az-Zahran, al-Abbas said: I thought, I swear by Allah, if the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) enters Mecca with the army by force before the Quraysh come to him and seek protection from him, it will be their total ruin. So I rode on the mule of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and thought, Perhaps I may find a man coming for his needs who will to the people of Mecca and inform them of the position of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so that they may come to him and seek protection from him. While I was on my way, I heard AbuSufyan and Budayl ibn Warqa' speaking. I said: O AbuHanzalah! He recognized my voice and said: AbulFadl? I replied: Yes. He said: who is with you, may my parents be a sacrifice for you? I said: Here are the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and his people (with him). He asked: Which is the way out? He said: He rode behind me, and his companion returned. When the morning came, I brought him to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he embraced Islam. I said: Messenger of Allah, AbuSufyan is a man who likes this pride, do something for him. He said: Yes, he who enters the house of AbuSufyan is safe; he who closes the door upon him is safe; and he who enters the mosque is safe. The people scattered to their houses and in the mosque

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مرالظہران میں ( فتح مکہ کے لیے آنے والے مبارک لشکر کے ساتھ ) پڑاؤ کیا، عباس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ( اپنے جی میں ) کہا کہ اگر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بزور مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور قریش نے آپ کے مکہ میں داخل ہونے سے پہلے حاضر ہو کر امان حاصل نہ کر لی تو قریش تباہ ہو جائیں گے، پھر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خچر پر سوار ہو کر نکلا، میں نے ( اپنے جی ) میں کہا: شاید کوئی ضرورت مند اپنی ضرورت سے مکہ جاتا ہوا مل جائے ( تو میں اسے بتا دوں ) اور وہ جا کر اہل مکہ کو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے متعلق خبر کر دے ( کہ آپ مع لشکر جرار تمہارے سر پر آ پہنچے ہیں ) تاکہ وہ آپ کے حضور میں پہنچ کر آپ سے امان حاصل کر لیں۔ میں اسی خیال میں چلا جا رہا تھا کہ اچانک ابوسفیان اور بدیل بن ورقاء کی آواز سنی، میں نے پکار کر کہا: اے ابوحنظلہ ( ابوسفیان کی کنیت ہے ) اس نے میری آواز پہچان لی، اس نے کہا: ابوفضل؟ ( عباس کی کنیت ہے ) میں نے کہا: ہاں، اس نے کہا: کیا بات ہے، تم پر میرے ماں باپ فدا ہوں، میں نے کہا: دیکھ! یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہیں اور آپ کے ساتھ کے لوگ ہیں ( سوچ لے ) ابوسفیان نے کہا: پھر کیا تدبیر کروں؟ وہ کہتے ہیں: ابوسفیان میرے پیچھے ( خچر پر ) سوار ہوا، اور اس کا ساتھی ( بدیل بن ورقاء ) لوٹ گیا۔ پھر جب صبح ہوئی تو میں ابوسفیان کو اپنے ساتھ لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس گیا ( وہ مسلمان ہو گیا ) میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ابوسفیان فخر کو پسند کرتا ہے، تو آپ اس کے لیے ( اس طرح کی ) کوئی چیز کر دیجئیے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا: ہاں ( ایسی کیا بات ہے، لو کر دیا میں نے ) ، جو ابوسفیان کے گھر میں داخل ہو جائے اس کے لیے امن ہے ( وہ قتل نہیں کیا جائے گا ) اور جو اپنے گھر میں دروازہ بند کر کے بیٹھ رہے اس کے لیے امن ہے، اور جو خانہ کعبہ میں داخل ہو جائے اس کو امن ہے ، یہ سن کر لوگ اپنے اپنے گھروں میں اور مسجد میں بٹ گئے۔
