Rapporté par Ali ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه : J’avais une vieille chamelle que j’avais reçue comme part du butin le jour de Badr. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a aussi donné une vieille chamelle du cinquième ce jour-là. Lorsque j’ai voulu me marier avec Fatimah, la fille du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, j’ai convenu avec un homme orfèvre des Banu Qaynuqa’ d’aller avec moi chercher de l’herbe à vendre, afin de financer mon repas de noces. Pendant que je rassemblais des selles, paniers et cordes pour mes vieilles chamelles, elles étaient assises dans un coin de la maison d’un homme des Ansar. Quand j’ai fini de préparer ce que j’avais rassemblé, je me suis retourné et j’ai vu que les bosses de mes chamelles avaient été coupées, leurs hanches percées et qu’elles étaient mortes. Je n’ai pas pu retenir mes larmes en voyant cela. J’ai demandé : « Qui a fait cela ? » Les gens ont répondu : « Hamzah ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib. Il est parmi les buveurs de vin des Ansar dans cette maison. Une chanteuse chante pour lui et ses compagnons. En chantant, elle a dit : “Ô Hamzah, lève-toi vers ces grosses vieilles chamelles.” Alors il a pris une épée, a coupé leurs bosses, percé leurs hanches et en a sorti les foies. » Ali رضي الله عنه dit : « Je suis allé voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ alors que Zayd ibn Harithah était avec lui. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a compris ce qui m’était arrivé et m’a demandé : “Qu’as-tu ?” J’ai dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah ﷺ, je n’ai jamais vu ce qui m’est arrivé aujourd’hui. Hamzah a abîmé mes chamelles, il a coupé leurs bosses, percé leurs hanches. Il est dans une maison avec des buveurs.” Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a demandé son manteau, on le lui a apporté, puis il est sorti. Zayd ibn Harithah et moi l’avons suivi jusqu’à la maison où était Hamzah. Il a demandé la permission d’entrer et on la lui a accordée. Il a trouvé des buveurs à l’intérieur. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a commencé à réprimander Hamzah pour ce qu’il avait fait. Hamzah était ivre, les yeux rouges. Il a regardé le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, puis a levé les yeux vers ses genoux, puis vers son nombril, puis vers son visage. Hamzah a alors dit : “N’êtes-vous pas tous les esclaves de mon père ?” Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a compris qu’il était ivre, alors il s’est retiré et nous sommes sortis avec lui

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، أَنَّ حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ كَانَتْ لِي شَارِفٌ مِنْ نَصِيبِي مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَعْطَانِي شَارِفًا مِنَ الْخُمُسِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَلَمَّا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَبْنِيَ بِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَاعَدْتُ رَجُلاً صَوَّاغًا مِنْ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعَ أَنْ يَرْتَحِلَ مَعِي فَنَأْتِيَ بِإِذْخِرٍ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَبِيعَهُ مِنَ الصَّوَّاغِينَ فَأَسْتَعِينَ بِهِ فِي وَلِيمَةِ عُرْسِي فَبَيْنَا أَنَا أَجْمَعُ لِشَارِفَىَّ مَتَاعًا مِنَ الأَقْتَابِ وَالْغَرَائِرِ وَالْحِبَالِ - وَشَارِفَاىَ مُنَاخَانِ إِلَى جَنْبِ حُجْرَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ - أَقْبَلْتُ حِينَ جَمَعْتُ مَا جَمَعْتُ فَإِذَا بِشَارِفَىَّ قَدِ اجْتُبَّتْ أَسْنِمَتُهُمَا وَبُقِرَتْ خَوَاصِرُهُمَا وَأُخِذَ مِنْ أَكْبَادِهِمَا فَلَمْ أَمْلِكْ عَيْنَىَّ حِينَ رَأَيْتُ ذَلِكَ الْمَنْظَرَ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا قَالُوا فَعَلَهُ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَهُوَ فِي هَذَا الْبَيْتِ فِي شَرْبٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ غَنَّتْهُ قَيْنَةٌ وَأَصْحَابَهُ فَقَالَتْ فِي غِنَائِهَا أَلاَ يَا حَمْزُ لِلشُّرُفِ النِّوَاءِ فَوَثَبَ إِلَى السَّيْفِ فَاجْتَبَّ أَسْنِمَتَهُمَا وَبَقَرَ خَوَاصِرَهُمَا وَأَخَذَ مِنْ أَكْبَادِهِمَا . قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَانْطَلَقْتُ حَتَّى أَدْخُلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعِنْدَهُ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ فَعَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِي لَقِيتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا لَكَ " . قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ عَدَا حَمْزَةُ عَلَى نَاقَتَىَّ فَاجْتَبَّ أَسْنِمَتَهُمَا وَبَقَرَ خَوَاصِرَهُمَا وَهَا هُوَ ذَا فِي بَيْتٍ مَعَهُ شَرْبٌ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِرِدَائِهِ فَارْتَدَاهُ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ يَمْشِي وَاتَّبَعْتُهُ أَنَا وَزَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ حَتَّى جَاءَ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي فِيهِ حَمْزَةُ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ فَأُذِنَ لَهُ فَإِذَا هُمْ شَرْبٌ فَطَفِقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَلُومُ حَمْزَةَ فِيمَا فَعَلَ فَإِذَا حَمْزَةُ ثَمِلٌ مُحْمَرَّةٌ عَيْنَاهُ فَنَظَرَ حَمْزَةُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ صَعَّدَ النَّظَرَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ صَعَّدَ النَّظَرَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى سُرَّتِهِ ثُمَّ صَعَّدَ النَّظَرَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَمْزَةُ وَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ إِلاَّ عَبِيدٌ لأَبِي فَعَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ ثَمِلٌ فَنَكَصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ الْقَهْقَرَى فَخَرَجَ وَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ .

‘Ali bin Abi Talib said “I had an old she Camel that I got as my share from the booty on the day of Badr. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) also gave me an old she camel from the fifth that day. When I intended to cohabit with Fathimah daughter of the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ), I made arrangement with a man who was a goldsmith belonging to Banu Qainuqa’ to go with me so that we may bring grass. I intended to sell it to the goldsmith there by seeking help in my wedding feast. While I was collecting for my old Camels saddles, baskets and ropes both of she Camels were seated in a corner of the apartment of a man of the Ansar. When I collected what I collected (i.e., equipment) I turned (towards them). I suddenly found that the humps of she Camels were cut off and their hips were pierced and their lives were taken out. I could not control my eyes (to weep) when I saw that scene. I said “Who has done this?” They (the people) replied “Hamzah bin ‘Abd Al Muttalib”. He is among the drunkards of the Ansar in this house. A singing girl is singing for him and his Companions. While singing she said “Oh Hamza, rise to these plumpy old she Camels. So he jumped to the sword and cut off their humps, pierced their hips and took out their livers.” ‘Ali said “I went till I entered upon the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) while Zaid bin Harithah was with him.” The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) realized what I had met with. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) aid “What is the matter with you?” I said Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ), I never saw the thing that happened with me today. Hamzah wronged my she Camels, he cut off their humps, pierced their hips. Lo! He is in a house with drunkards. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) asked for his cloak. It was brought to him. He then went out, I and Zaid bin Harithah followed him until we reached the house where Hamzah was. He asked permission ( to entre). He was permitted. He found drunkards there. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) began to rebuke him (Hamzah) for his action. Hamzah was intoxicated and his eyes were reddish. Hamzah looked at the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ). He then raised his eyes and looked at his knees, he then raised his eyes and looked at his navel and he then raised his eyes and looked at his face. Hamzah then said “Are you but the salves of my father? Then the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) knew that he was intoxicated. So the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) moved backward. He then went out and we also went out with him.”

علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے پاس ایک زیادہ عمر والی اونٹنی تھی جو مجھے بدر کے دن مال غنیمت کی تقسیم میں ملی تھی اور اسی دن مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک اور بہت عمر والی اونٹنی مال خمس میں سے عنایت فرمائی تھی تو جب میں نے ارادہ کیا کہ میں فاطمہ بنت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنے گھر لاؤں، تو میں نے بنو قینقاع کے ایک سنار سے وعدہ لے لیا کہ وہ میرے ساتھ چلے اور ہم دونوں جا کر اذخر ( ایک خوشبودار گھاس ہے ) لائیں میرا ارادہ یہ تھا کہ میں اسے سناروں سے بیچ کر اپنے ولیمہ کی تیاری میں اس سے مدد لوں، اسی دوران کہ میں اپنی اونٹنیوں کے لیے پالان، گھاس کے ٹوکرے اور رسیاں ( وغیرہ ) اکٹھا کر رہا تھا اور میری دونوں اونٹنیاں ایک انصاری کے حجرے کے بغل میں بیٹھی ہوئی تھیں، جو ضروری سامان میں مہیا کر سکتا تھا کر کے لوٹ کر آیا تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ دونوں اونٹنیوں کے کوہان کاٹ دئیے گئے ہیں اور پیٹ چاک کر دئیے گئے ہیں، اور ان کے کلیجے نکال لیے گئے ہیں، جب میں نے یہ منظر دیکھا تو میں اپنی آنکھوں پر قابو نہ پا سکا میں نے کہا: یہ کس نے کیا ہے؟ لوگوں نے کہا: یہ سب حمزہ بن عبدالمطلب نے کیا ہے، وہ اس گھر میں چند انصاریوں کے ساتھ شراب پی رہے ہیں، ایک مغنیہ نے ان کے اور ان کے ساتھیوں کے سامنے یوں گا یا: «ألا يا حمز للشرف النواء» ۱؎ ( اے حمزہ ان موٹی موٹی اونٹنیوں کے لیے جو میدان میں بندھی ہوئی ہیں اٹھ کھڑے ہو ) یہ سن کر وہ تلوار کی طرف جھپٹے اور جا کر ان کے کوہان کاٹ ڈالے، ان کے پیٹ چاک کر ڈالے، اور ان کے کلیجے نکال لیے، میں وہاں سے چل کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پہنچا، آپ کے پاس زید بن حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( میرے چہرے کو دیکھ کر ) جو ( صدمہ ) مجھے لاحق ہوا تھا اسے بھانپ لیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہیں کیا ہوا؟ میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے آج کے دن کے جیسا کبھی نہیں دیکھا، حمزہ نے میری اونٹنیوں پر ظلم کیا ہے، ان کے کوہان کاٹ ڈالے، ان کے پیٹ پھاڑ ڈالے اور وہ یہاں ایک گھر میں شراب پینے والوں کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی چادر منگوائی اور اس کو اوڑھ کر چلے، میں بھی اور زید بن حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے پیچھے چلے یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس گھر میں پہنچے جہاں حمزہ تھے، آپ نے اندر جانے کی اجازت مانگی تو اجازت دے دی گئی، جب اندر گئے تو دیکھا کہ سب شراب پئے ہوئے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حمزہ کو ان کے کئے پر ملامت کرنے لگے، دیکھا تو حمزہ نشے میں تھے، آنکھیں سرخ ہو رہی تھیں، حمزہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف دیکھا، پھر تھوڑی نظر بلند کی تو آپ کے گھٹنوں کو دیکھا، پھر تھوڑی نظر اور بلند کی، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ناف کی طرف دیکھا، پھر تھوڑی نظر اور بلند کی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرہ کو دیکھا، پھر بولے: تم سب میرے باپ کے غلام ہی تو ہو، اس وقت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جان لیا کہ حمزہ نشے میں دھت ہیں ( یہ دیکھ کر ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم الٹے پاؤں وہاں سے پلٹے اور نکل آئے اور آپ کے ساتھ ہم بھی نکل آئے ( اس وقت تک شراب حرام نہ ہوئی تھی ) ۔
