Rapporté par Aishah (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Lorsque le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est décédé, les épouses du Prophète ﷺ voulaient envoyer ‘Uthman ibn ‘Affan auprès d’Abu Bakr pour lui demander leur pension à partir de l’héritage du Prophète ﷺ. Aishah رضي الله عنها leur dit alors : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ n’a-t-il pas dit : « Nous ne laissons pas d’héritage. Tout ce que nous laissons est une aumône » ?

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرَدْنَ أَنْ يَبْعَثْنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ فَيَسْأَلْنَهُ ثُمُنَهُنَّ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ لَهُنَّ عَائِشَةُ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Aishah:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died, the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to send 'Uthman b. 'Affan to Abu Bakr to ask him their cost of living from (the inheritance of) the Prophet (ﷺ). Thereupon 'Aishah said: Did not the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: We are not inherited. Whatever we leave is sadaqah

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وفات پائی تو امہات المؤمنین نے ارادہ کیا کہ عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کو ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیج کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی میراث سے اپنا آٹھواں حصہ طلب کریں، تو ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ان سب سے کہا ( کیا تمہیں یاد نہیں ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: ہمارا کوئی وارث نہیں ہوتا ہے، ہم جو چھوڑ جائیں وہ صدقہ ہے ۔
