كتاب الخراج والإمرة والفيء
Rapporté par Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Je suis plus proche des croyants qu’eux-mêmes. Donc, si quelqu’un laisse des biens, ils vont à ses héritiers ; mais si quelqu’un laisse des dettes et des personnes à charge, que l’affaire me revienne et j’en prendrai la responsabilité. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَىَّ وَعَلَىَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I am nearer to the believers than themselves, so if anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs, and if anyone leaves debt and dependants, let the matter come to me and I shall be responsible

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے: میں مسلمانوں سے ان کی اپنی جان سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہوں ( بس ) جو مر جائے اور مال چھوڑ جائے تو وہ مال اس کے گھر والوں کا حق ہے اور جو قرض چھوڑ جائے یا عیال، تو وہ ( قرض کی ادائیگی اور عیال کی پرورش ) میرے ذمہ ہے ۔
