Rapporté par Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ m’a nommé pour collecter la zakat puis a dit : « Va, Abu Mas’ud, je ne veux pas te voir au Jour du Jugement porter sur ton dos un chameau de la zakat qui grogne, celui que tu aurais pris de façon malhonnête. » Il a dit : « Si c’est ainsi, je n’irai pas. » Il a répondu : « Alors, je ne t’y oblige pas. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَاعِيًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " انْطَلِقْ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَلاَ أُلْفِيَنَّكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَجِيءُ عَلَى ظَهْرِكَ بَعِيرٌ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ لَهُ رُغَاءٌ قَدْ غَلَلْتَهُ " . قَالَ إِذًا لاَ أَنْطَلِقُ . قَالَ " إِذًا لاَ أُكْرِهُكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated AbuMas'ud al-Ansari: The Prophet (ﷺ) appointed me to collect sadaqah and then said: Go, AbuMas'ud, I should not find you on the Day of Judgment carrying a camel of sadaqah on your back, which rumbles, the one you have taken by unfaithful dealing in sadaqah. He said: If it is so, I will not go. He said: Then I do not force you
Traduction en ourdou
ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے عامل بنا کر بھیجا اور فرمایا: ابومسعود! جاؤ ( مگر دیکھو ) ایسا نہ ہو کہ میں تمہیں قیامت میں اپنی پیٹھ پر زکاۃ کا اونٹ جسے تم نے چرایا ہو لادے ہوئے آتا دیکھوں اور وہ بلبلا رہا ہو ، ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بولے: اگر ایسا ہے تو میں نہیں جاتا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو میں تجھ پر جبر نہیں کرتا ۱؎ ۔
