Hadith 840 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Lorsque l’un d’entre vous se prosterne, il ne doit pas s’agenouiller comme le fait un chameau, mais il doit poser ses mains avant ses genoux. »

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا سَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَبْرُكْ كَمَا يَبْرُكُ الْبَعِيرُ وَلْيَضَعْ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:when one of you prostrates himself he must not kneel in the manner of camel, but should put down his hands before his knees
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص سجدہ کرے تو اس طرح نہ بیٹھے جیسے اونٹ بیٹھتا ہے بلکہ اپنے ہاتھ اپنے گھٹنوں سے پہلے ( زمین پر ) رکھے ۱؎ ۔
