Rapporté par Abu Ma‘mar رضي الله عنه : Nous avons demandé à Khabbab رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ récitait-il (le Coran) dans les prières du midi et de l’après-midi ? Il a répondu : Oui. Nous avons alors demandé : Comment le saviez-vous ? Il a dit : À cause du mouvement de sa barbe, que la paix soit sur lui

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ قُلْنَا لِخَبَّابٍ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ قَالَ نَعَمْ . قُلْنَا بِمَ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ ذَاكَ قَالَ بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Ma’mar said:We asked Khabbab: Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recit (the Quran) in the noon and afternoon prayers? He replied: Yes. We then asked: How did you know this? He said: By the shaking of his beard, may peace be upon him
Traduction en ourdou
ابومعمر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے خباب رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر و عصر میں قرآت کرتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں ( قرآت کرتے تھے ) ، ہم نے کہا: آپ لوگوں کو یہ بات کیسے معلوم ہوتی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا: آپ کی داڑھی کے ہلنے سے ۱؎۔
