Hadith 747 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous a appris comment prier. Il a ensuite prononcé le takbir (Allah est le plus grand) et levé les mains ; quand il s’est incliné, il a joint les mains et les a placées entre ses genoux. Quand ce récit est parvenu à Sa‘d, il a dit : Mon frère a dit vrai. Nous faisions cela ; puis on nous a ensuite ordonné de faire ceci, c’est-à-dire de poser les mains sur les genoux

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَلَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الصَّلاَةَ فَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ طَبَّقَ يَدَيْهِ بَيْنَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ قَالَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ سَعْدًا فَقَالَ صَدَقَ أَخِي قَدْ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُ هَذَا ثُمَّ أُمِرْنَا بِهَذَا يَعْنِي الإِمْسَاكَ عَلَى الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught us how to pray. He then uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) and raised his hands; when he bowed, he joined his hands and placed them between his knees. When this (report) reached Sa'd, he said: My brother said truly. We used to do this; then we were later on commanded to do this, that is, to place the hands on the knees
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں نماز سکھائی تو آپ نے تکبیر ( تکبیر تحریمہ ) کہی اور رفع یدین کیا، پھر جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رکوع میں گئے تو دونوں ہاتھ ملا کر آپ نے انہیں اپنے دونوں گھٹنوں کے بیچ میں رکھ لیا، جب یہ خبر سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کو پہنچی تو انہوں نے کہا: سچ کہا میرے بھائی ( عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے، پہلے ہم ایسا ہی کرتے تھے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں اس کا یعنی دونوں ہاتھوں سے دونوں گھٹنوں کے پکڑنے کا حکم دیا۔
