Hadith 724 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Wa’il ibn Hujr رضي الله عنه : Il a vu que lorsque le Prophète ﷺ se levait pour prier, il levait les mains jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient en face de ses épaules et plaçait ses pouces au niveau de ses oreilles ; puis il prononçait le takbir (Allah est le plus grand)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى كَانَتَا بِحِيَالِ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَحَاذَى بِإِبْهَامَيْهِ أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ .
Traduction anglaise
Wa’il b.Hujr said:He saw that when the Prophet(ﷺ) stood up to pray he raised his hands till they were in front of his shoulders and placed his thumbs opposite his ears; then he uttered the Takbir (Allah is most great)
Traduction en ourdou
وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، جب آپ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے رفع یدین کیا یہاں تک کہ آپ کے دونوں ہاتھ دونوں مونڈھوں کے بالمقابل ہوئے، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دونوں انگوٹھے دونوں کانوں کے بالمقابل ہوئے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «الله أكبر» کہا۔
