Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنه a dit : Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ sortait pour prier le jour de l’Aïd, il demandait qu’on apporte une lance, qu’on plantait devant lui, et il priait en sa direction, tandis que les gens se tenaient derrière lui. Il faisait de même en voyage ; c’est pourquoi les dirigeants emportaient la lance avec eux

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ أَمَرَ بِالْحَرْبَةِ فَتُوضَعَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا وَالنَّاسُ وَرَاءَهُ وَكَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السَّفَرِ فَمِنْ ثَمَّ اتَّخَذَهَا الأُمَرَاءُ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Umar said:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would go out (for prayer) on the day of 'Id, he ordered to bring a lance, it was then setup in front of him and he would pray in its direction, and the people (stood) behind him. He used to do so during journey ; hence the rulers would take it (lance with them)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب عید کے دن نکلتے تو برچھی ( نیزہ ) لے چلنے کا حکم دیتے، وہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے رکھی جاتی، تو آپ اس کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھتے، اور لوگ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے ہوتے، اور ایسا آپ سفر میں کرتے تھے، اسی وجہ سے حکمرانوں نے اسے اختیار کر رکھا ہے۔
