كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Uthman ibn Abul'As : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a nommé responsable du groupe pour la prière. Il a dit : « Tu es leur chef, mais tu dois tenir compte du plus faible parmi eux. Et choisis un muezzin qui ne demande pas de rémunération pour l’appel à la prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، قَالَ قُلْتُ وَقَالَ مُوسَى فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اجْعَلْنِي إِمَامَ قَوْمِي . قَالَ " أَنْتَ إِمَامُهُمْ وَاقْتَدِ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ وَاتَّخِذْ مُؤَذِّنًا لاَ يَأْخُذُ عَلَى أَذَانِهِ أَجْرًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Uthman ibn Abul'As: Messenger of Allah, appoint me the leader of the tribe in prayer. He said: You are their leader, but you should follow on who is the weakest of them: and appoint a mu'adhdhin who does not charge for the calling of adhan

عثمان بن ابی العاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! آپ مجھے میری قوم کا امام مقرر فرما دیجئیے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم ان کے امام ہو تو تم ان کے کمزور ترین لوگوں کی رعایت کرنا، اور ایسا مؤذن مقرر کرنا جو اذان پر اجرت نہ لے ۔
