Hadith 524 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As : Un homme a dit : « Messager d’Allah, les muezzins ont plus de mérite que nous. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Dites (les mêmes paroles) qu’eux, et quand vous arrivez à la fin, faites une demande et elle vous sera accordée. »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ حُيَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي الْحُبُلِيَّ - عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ يَفْضُلُونَنَا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قُلْ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ فَإِذَا انْتَهَيْتَ فَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: A man said: Messenger of Allah, the mu'adhdhins excel us. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Say (the same words) as they say, and when you come to the end, make a petition and that will be granted to you
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! مؤذنوں کو ہم پر فضیلت حاصل ہے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم بھی اسی طرح کہو جس طرح وہ کہتے ہیں ( یعنی اذان کا جواب دو ) ، پھر جب تم اذان ختم کر لو تو ( اللہ تعالیٰ سے ) مانگو، تمہیں دیا جائے گا ۔
