Hadith 484 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Wathilah ibn al-Asqa' : AbuSa'id a dit : J’ai vu Wathilah ibn al-Asqa' dans la mosquée de Damas. Il a craché sur le tapis puis a frotté avec son pied. On lui demanda : « Pourquoi as-tu fait cela ? » Il répondit : « Parce que j’ai vu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ faire ainsi. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الأَسْقَعِ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ بَصَقَ عَلَى الْبُورِيِّ ثُمَّ مَسَحَهُ بِرِجْلِهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لأَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Wathilah ibn al-Asqa': AbuSa'id said: I saw Wathilah ibn al-Asqa' in the mosque of Damascus. He spat at the mat and then rubbed it with his foot. He was asked: Why did you do so? He said: Because I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) doing so
Traduction en ourdou
ابوسعید حمیری کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے دمشق کی مسجد میں واثلہ بن اسقع رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے بوریے پر تھوکا، پھر اپنے پاؤں سے اسے مل دیا، ان سے پوچھا گیا: آپ نے ایسا کیوں کیا؟ انہوں نے کہا: اس لیے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایسا کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
