Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنه : Les piliers de la mosquée du Prophète ﷺ, du temps du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, étaient faits de troncs de palmier ; ils étaient recouverts au-dessus de branches de palmier ; ils se sont détériorés sous le califat d’Abu Bakr. Il l’a reconstruite avec des troncs et des branches de palmier. Mais ils se sont à nouveau abîmés sous le califat de ‘Uthman. Il l’a donc reconstruite en briques. Cela existe encore aujourd’hui

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ مَسْجِدَ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ سَوَارِيهِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ جُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ أَعْلاَهُ مُظَلَّلٌ بِجَرِيدِ النَّخْلِ ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا نَخِرَتْ فِي خِلاَفَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَبَنَاهَا بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ وَبِجَرِيدِ النَّخْلِ ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا نَخِرَتْ فِي خِلاَفَةِ عُثْمَانَ فَبَنَاهَا بِالآجُرِّ فَلَمْ تَزَلْ ثَابِتَةً حَتَّى الآنَ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Umar reported:The pillars of the mosque of the Prophet (ﷺ) during the life time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) were made of the trunks of the palm-tree; they covered from the above by twigs of the palm-tree; they decayed during the caliphate of Abu Bakr. He built it afresh with trunks and twigs of the palm-tree. But they again decayed during the caliphate of 'Uthman. He, therefore, built it with bricks. That survives until today
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں مسجد نبوی کے ستون کھجور کی لکڑی کے تھے، اس کے اوپر کھجور کی شاخوں سے سایہ کر دیا گیا تھا، پھر وہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی خلافت میں بوسیدہ ہو گئی تو انہوں نے اس کو کھجور کے تنوں اور اس کی ٹہنیوں سے بنوایا، پھر عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کی خلافت میں وہ بھی بوسیدہ ہو گئی تو انہوں نے اسے پکی اینٹوں سے بنوا دیا، جو اب تک باقی ہے۔
