Rapporté par Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn al-Hasan : Nous avons interrogé Jabir رضي الله عنه sur les horaires de prière du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il a dit : Il faisait la prière du zuhr pendant la chaleur du milieu de journée, la prière du ‘asr quand le soleil était encore brillant, la prière du maghrib quand le soleil était complètement couché, la prière du ‘isha tôt quand il y avait beaucoup de monde, mais plus tard s’ils étaient peu nombreux, et la prière du fajr dans l’obscurité de l’aube

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - قَالَ - سَأَلْنَا جَابِرًا عَنْ وَقْتِ، صَلاَةِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ وَالْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ حَيَّةٌ وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعِشَاءَ إِذَا كَثُرَ النَّاسُ عَجَّلَ وَإِذَا قَلُّوا أَخَّرَ وَالصُّبْحَ بِغَلَسٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Muhammad b. 'Amr b. al-Hasan reported:We asked Jabir about the time of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: He used to offer the Zuhr prayer in the midday heat, the 'Asr prayer when the sun was bright, the Maghrib prayer when the sun had completely set, the Isha prayer early when many people were present, but late if there were few, and the Fajr prayer in the darkness (of the dawn)
Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن عمرو سے روایت ہے (اور وہ حسن بن علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہما کے لڑکے ہیں) وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز کے اوقات کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر سورج ڈھل جانے پر پڑھتے تھے، عصر ایسے وقت پڑھتے کہ سورج زندہ رہتا، مغرب سورج ڈوب جانے پر پڑھتے، اور عشاء اس وقت جلدی ادا کرتے جب آدمی زیادہ ہوتے، اور جب کم ہوتے تو دیر سے پڑھتے، اور فجر غلس ( اندھیرے ) میں پڑھتے تھے۔
