Hadith 1134 — Livre 2: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه : Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est arrivé à Médine, les gens avaient deux jours pendant lesquels ils jouaient. Il a demandé : « Quels sont ces deux jours (quelle est leur signification) ? » Ils ont répondu : « Nous avions l’habitude de nous divertir ces jours-là à l’époque préislamique. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Allah vous a donné à la place quelque chose de meilleur : le jour du sacrifice et le jour de la rupture du jeûne. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَدِينَةَ وَلَهُمْ يَوْمَانِ يَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَانِ الْيَوْمَانِ " . قَالُوا كُنَّا نَلْعَبُ فِيهِمَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَبْدَلَكُمْ بِهِمَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمَا يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى وَيَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Medina, the people had two days on which they engaged in games. He asked: What are these two days (what is the significance)? They said: We used to engage ourselves on them in the pre-Islamic period. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah has substituted for them something better than them, the day of sacrifice and the day of the breaking of the fast
Traduction en ourdou
انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ تشریف لائے ( تو دیکھا کہ ) ان کے لیے ( سال میں ) دو دن ہیں جن میں وہ کھیلتے کودتے ہیں تو آپ نے پوچھا: یہ دو دن کیسے ہیں؟ ، تو ان لوگوں نے کہا: جاہلیت میں ہم ان دونوں دنوں میں کھیلتے کودتے تھے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ نے تمہیں ان دونوں کے عوض ان سے بہتر دو دن عطا فرما دیئے ہیں: ایک عید الاضحی کا دن اور دوسرا عید الفطر کا دن ۔
