Rapporté par Buraydah ibn al-Hasib : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous a adressé un discours ; pendant ce temps, al-Hasan et al-Husayn sont arrivés en trébuchant, portant des chemises rouges. Il est descendu du minbar, les a pris et est remonté avec eux. Puis il a dit : « Allah a vraiment dit : “Vos biens et vos enfants ne sont qu’une épreuve” (64:15). Je les ai vus et je n’ai pas pu patienter. » Ensuite, il a repris son discours

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ حُبَابٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَقْبَلَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ - رضى الله عنهما - عَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ يَعْثُرَانِ وَيَقُومَانِ فَنَزَلَ فَأَخَذَهُمَا فَصَعِدَ بِهِمَا الْمِنْبَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " صَدَقَ اللَّهُ { إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ } رَأَيْتُ هَذَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ " . ثُمَّ أَخَذَ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered a speech to us; meanwhile al-Hasan and al-Husayn came upon there stumbling, wearing red shirts. He came down from the pulpit, took them and ascended it with them. He then said: Allah truly said: "Your property and your children are only trial" (Ixiv.15). I saw both of them, and I could not wait. Afterwards he resumed the speech

بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں خطبہ دے رہے تھے، اتنے میں حسن اور حسین رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں لال قمیص پہنے ہوئے گرتے پڑتے آئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر سے اتر پڑے، انہیں اٹھا لیا اور لے کر منبر پر چڑھ گئے پھر فرمایا: اللہ نے سچ فرمایا ہے: «إنما أموالكم وأولادكم فتنة» ( التغابن: ۱۵ ) تمہارے مال اور اولاد آزمائش ہیں میں نے ان دونوں کو دیکھا تو میں صبر نہ کر سکا ، پھر آپ نے دوبارہ خطبہ دینا شروع کر دیا۔
