Rapporté par Jabir ibn Samurah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ prononçait le sermon debout, puis il s’asseyait, puis il se levait et prêchait debout. Si quelqu’un vous dit qu’il prêchait assis, il ment. Je jure par Allah que j’ai prié avec lui plus de deux mille fois

حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا فَمَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ جَالِسًا فَقَدْ كَذَبَ فَقَالَ فَقَدْ وَاللَّهِ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَلْفَىْ صَلاَةٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir b. Samurah said:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to deliver the sermon standing, then he would sit down, then stand and preach standing. If anyone tells you he preached sitting, he is lying. I swear by Allah that I offered along with more than two thousand prayers
Traduction en ourdou
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( جمعہ کے دن ) کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے، پھر ( تھوڑی دیر ) بیٹھ جاتے، پھر کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے، لہٰذا جو تم سے یہ بیان کرے کہ آپ بیٹھ کر خطبہ دیتے تھے تو وہ غلط گو ہے، پھر انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ کے ساتھ دو ہزار سے زیادہ نمازیں پڑھ چکا ہوں ۱؎۔
