Cette tradition a aussi été transmise par Muhammad b. Muslim à travers une chaîne différente de rapporteurs. Cette version ajoute : « Alors qu’il est assis, avant de donner la salutation. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ زَادَ " وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ " .
Traduction anglaise
This tradition has also been transmitted by Muhammad b. Muslim through a different chain of narrators. This version adds; “While he is sitting before he gives the salutation.”

اس طریق سے بھی محمد بن مسلم سے اسی سند سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ وہ سلام سے پہلے بیٹھے ( دو سجدے کرے ) ۔
