Hadith 2898 — Livre 19: Shares of Inheritance (Kitab Al-Fara'id)
كتاب الفرائض
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Répartissez les biens entre ceux dont la part est fixée dans le Livre d’Allah, et ce qui reste après les parts prescrites revient au plus proche parent masculin. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَمَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، - وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ مَخْلَدٍ وَهُوَ الأَشْبَعُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اقْسِمِ الْمَالَ بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلأَوْلَى ذَكَرٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Divide the property among those whose share have been prescribed in the Book of Allah, and what remains from the prescribed shares goes to the nearest male heirs

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ذوی الفروض ۱؎ میں مال کتاب اللہ کے مطابق تقسیم کر دو اور جو ان کے حصوں سے بچ رہے وہ اس مرد کو ملے گا جو میت سے سب سے زیادہ قریب ہو ۲؎ ۔
