كتاب الضحايا
Rapporté par Umm Kurz رضي الله عنها : J’ai entendu le Prophète ﷺ dire : « Laissez les oiseaux dans leurs nids. » Elle a aussi dit : « Je l’ai entendu dire : “On sacrifie deux moutons pour un garçon et un pour une fille, mais cela ne fait aucune différence qu’ils soient mâles ou femelles.” »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " أَقِرُّوا الطَّيْرَ عَلَى مَكِنَاتِهَا " . قَالَتْ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " عَنِ الْغُلاَمِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ أَذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَمْ إِنَاثًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Umm Kurz: I heard the Prophet (nay peace be upon him) say: Let the birds stay in their roosts. She said: I also heard him say: Two sheep are to be sacrificed for a boy and one for a girl, but it does you no harm whether they are male or female
Traduction en ourdou
ام کرز رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: پرندوں کو ان کے گھونسلوں میں بیٹھے رہنے دو ( یعنی ان کو گھونسلوں سے اڑا کر تکلیف نہ دو ) ، میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ بھی فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: لڑکے کی طرف سے ( عقیقہ میں ) دو بکریاں ہیں، اور لڑکی کی طرف سے ایک بکری ہے، اور تمہیں اس میں کچھ نقصان نہیں کہ وہ نر ہوں یا مادہ ۔
